They're not. They are banned in Scotland and Wales, though. Defra has promised to deliver on its commitment to ban snares, but no legislative timeline has been announced. Every month Labour delays, more animals will suffer and die in snares.

It’s well worth listening to the excellent @davegoulson.bsky.social on game shooting. It’s a thoughtful, compelling and accurate takedown of this egregious enterprise. And as Dave says, don’t eat game birds. Ever.

I just saw a video of a man offering to review 'small authors' if they send him a $200 deposit, an $800 payment for a video review, and the free book atop that. Do NOT pay for reviews. Do NOT pay for reviews. Do NOT pay for reviews. The AUDACITY of those prices. Oh my gosh.

If Nigel Farage loses Clacton to a refuse receptacle his career ends. A vote for Count Binface is a vote to end Trumpism in the UK.
It's hard to believe that an organisation under so much scrutiny can be so tin-eared. But, then again, if you have run an unaccountable monopoly for 25 years, perhaps such arrogance becomes the norm.
