I keep saying that sending a few bucks to places like Arkansas is well worth the investment. If it doesn't flip, it was still worth it to beat up Tom Cotton. If it does flip, I will be laughing for days.

For the love of God and country, Jon Husted should just have some good old-fashioned - consensual - lockerroom sex with Trump to get the old man to quiet down.

C’mon, FL & OH Gov races aren’t the same. Remember, polls aren’t free. If it’s not Pew or something like that, or some established university poll, a poll that doesn’t list a client/sponsor should be viewed as sketchy at best, but more likely it’s intentional bullshit to skew averages

Fam, I don’t know a better way to frame this but the MT Senate race is what it is. We can’t go back in time and get a candidate to drop out. Don’t bother yourself obsessing over what ifs. We got lucky in ME Senate, TX Senate, and WI Governor. We got less lucky in MT Senate. Shit happens 🤷‍♂️

I guarantee that whatever organic impulses there are, Russian psyops are fueling this. On top of that, the entire world is being corrupted by billionaires buying politicians and distorting politics for their own gain. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/20/w...

France Protests Show Europe’s Shift Away From Centrist Politics

Europe’s centrist parties are losing ground among young people and workers, who are increasingly tempted by populist promises of radical change.

We have gotten to the point where it feels like the 1850's are happening domestically while the 1930's are happening internationally. Which shitty decade is happening economically remains to be determined. Personally, I'd much prefer the tech bubble crash to the housing bubble crash, but we'll see.

It is true that Black, Hispanic, and Native American/Alaskan poverty rates are at recent (at least since the financial crisis) lows. Since 2011, Black poverty ⬇️ ~30%, Hispanic poverty ⬇️ ~40%. Still way above white poverty, but don't let the fact Trump said it make us overlook a real win.

Poverty trends from 2008 to 2024, showing Black, Hispanic, and Native rates rising to 2011 then dropping through 2024.

Trump: "African American poverty, Hispanic American poverty, and Native American poverty rates are the highest and the best numbers ever recorded by far."

Meh. World Series will be going to a team with a 25K seat arena. I hate the “oooh, Tampa Bay is a small market club” BS. Tampa is MLB’s 20th biggest market, btwn Detroit/Seattle/MSP & SD/Colorado/Balto. If it had been Milwaukee-Cleveland I’d have been happy whoever made it. But I’m for the Brewers

Imagine being this ignorant of History, and being proud of that fact The New York Times editorial page apologized for them pushing the US into the Iraq War But this woman thinks a reporter who said things she didn't agree with is the worst ONE OF US IS AN IDIOT AND WRONG I DON'T THINK IT IS ME

Jeremy Peters, the worst reporter at the NYT. I don’t care who else you mention, they may be terrible. Maybe you mention five. They could all be tied for next to worst. But Jeremy Peters is the worst.

Why not first get me a cheaper mid-sized SUV/mini-van EV, cheap & cost-effective solar panels on my roof that provide all their electricity to me, & equitable, sustainable, & generous universal healthcare, & my ability to see every Detroit team’s every game through a single streaming subscription

Mississippi farmers deserve more than cheap talk. They deserve a senator who will fight for their livelihoods and put them ahead of special interests. That’s exactly what I’ll do because our Mississippi farmers matter.
