I grew up in the US, but the 1st time I came to the UK at 21 I developed an internal abscess that would have turned into sepsis had they not operated on it immediately. Cost me nothing. Also shout to the GP who picked up my PCOS instead of saying “diet harder” when I came in for an unrelated issue
