This is amazing! SimCopter had a great soundtrack by Jerry Martin but the game’s files were highly compressed. So LucasVB got in touch with Mr. Martin and he was able to find most of the original high quality tracks! Awesome to hear “Hangar” in such clarity after 30 years archive.org/details/SimC...

Got the PicoIDE and BlueSCSI installed into the SGI VW 320 to demo at VCF Midwest in a couple weeks! I love the auto opening door on this thing.

This is a real game changer for vintage Macintosh enthusiasts. This takes a lot of guesswork out of all the compression formats and produces an easy to use file compatible with emulators and real hardware. Many thanks to @eric.scsi.blue for putting this together! www.patreon.com/nulleric/pos...

It happens all the time - someone buys or builds a BlueSCSI then tries to get some files to their Mac. The file is an onion of archive forma

VCF Midwest is a bit over 2 weeks away so I’m getting PicoIDE demo rigs set up for my table. One will be an SGI Visual Workstation 320 with both a BlueSCSI Ultra Wide and a PicoIDE in way-too-cool black front panel enclosures. These are 3d printed because I’ve only gotten molded samples in beige

Two 3.5” drives in very similar black plastic enclosures, one with picoIDE embossed into the front and the other saying BlueSCSI

I want to reiterate how much I love #bluescsi #initiator mode for imaging old rusty HDs as soon as you get them cos they’re probably going to die when you boot them the 2nd or 3rd time but now you never have to know cos you have an image of the drive that's been in someone's closet for 35 years.

BlueSCSI is more than a drive emulator. It's an ecosystem. More supported systems than other solutions, great docs, online diag & config tools, vintage OS integration, WiFi, front panel & CD audio support: plus much more than fits in one doot. That's a lot of bang for less than 50 bucks. #bluescsi
