I usually am Team Cephalopod, but you have to give props to this sea otter that took on a very large Giant Pacific Octopus for its lunch (Kachemak Bay, AK). Note the octopus eye in bottom right of second photo. 🦑 🧪

Try not to forget: We begin drawing because of our childlike curiosity to replicate - to understand, to dissect - what interests us. The desire to be "good" was never why you picked up the pencil in the first place. Experiment. Be a kid again.

Winter will be here soon and today felt like this 😍 🍁 🍂 🐿️ This is a painting I did called ‘Foraging’ The weather was starting to turn and Mr. Nibbles could sense autumn in the air. He spent a happy afternoon foraging for acorns, ready for the winter ahead.
