My hunger for Armored Core finally grew so strong I figured out how to run PS2 emulator for AC3 Silent Line and then finished the game with a atrocious mouse and keyboard setup. It was hard as balls, but it was also an insanely fun game with tried and true mechanic before Fromsoft developed AC4.

I'm not saying it doesn't HAPPEN, but "all weird indie TTRPGs are a kink thing" is reductive. There is also "designing RPGs to publish your worldbuilding bible", "designing RPGs because you invented a neat dice trick", "designing RPGs to win an argument", and "designing RPGs as an act of self harm".

Cooking a meal is one of those activities where all players wanna partake, even those who don't have dedicated tech should be able to come up with something cool they find that can a at least a token to the meal :3 trynna convey that through the meal at the granary in the adventure.
