fanfiction writers are writers, and we matter. it doesn’t matter that it’s “just fanfiction”. if ever in your life you sat at the computer or on your phone or opened a notebook to put words down, if you were ever moved enough by love or frustration or both to tell a story, you mean something to me.

AO3 is addressing this already. please don't give up anything further to them
