Y’all. @jpbrammer.bsky.social did it again. I don’t know that I’d ever considered that the impulse to call people out for “performative reading” might come from a place of jealousy. In our current literacy crisis, it makes so much sense. JP digs so much deeper. Highly recommend.

It is kind of wild (foolish? heroic?) that "we" continue to post photos of ourselves on the internet at all, considering the possibility, however remote, of our image being used as a cruel meme that periodically flares up. it happened to this guy I know and every time I see it I get scared
