I've been getting nonstop spam texts and calls for the past few weeks, all for a "Joe". So when I got a normal political fundraising text addressed to me, it felt kind of nice.

Just as Ludwig returns for a second series, I found out that the soundtrack was released on #vinyl for last year's Record Store Day. Naturally, I had to pick up a copy. The track list on the back is a lovely touch. The insert also features an acrostic puzzle.

This past week has been mostly taken up by Big Walk, so no #boardGames. But last week I played Duel of Meloch (from @stonemaiergames.com). I've been looking forward to giving this one a try since it was announced, and it was super fun. Can't wait to test out some other matchups.

It's been really nice being behind on Only Connect, because we've had so many episodes available to watch. But the problem with having so many episodes available to watch is that we've now caught up and are short on episodes again. Hmm, how many of these old questions do we think we remember? 😄

Big Walk is a game about learning to communicate with others so well that you reach the point where you both try to push the button to close the door at the same exact time and therefore end up confused about why it’s not working.

If there's ever going to be Big Walk merch, I really want a gourd (That's what we call it; you know what I mean.) and a little case to put it in. …and it's got to make the sound.

Big Walk is such a phenomenal game. My partner and I have had a wonderful time and simply could not stop playing. The atmosphere, the puzzles, the design. Everything was just so enchanting. @househouse.com and @panic.com (et al) have really made something special here. Thanks to all involved.

Asbestos is pretty great. Naturally-occurring *and* fire-resistant? Sure, people harp on the "downsides". But every contractor is using it whether they admit it or not. It's here to stay. You're getting left behind. There's literally no other option. I mean, what would you honestly do without it?
