I don’t think I realized exactly how much of my love of making art was sapped from me with AI. It’s not like I intentionally made that choice, it just felt like I couldn’t share my work anymore. I didn’t want it to be fed into AI to train it. So I stopped sharing, but then I stopped making too.

It’s wild that we’ve let people add microtransactions to work, and we’re all just sitting here assuming it’ll stay budget-friendly forever.

I am exasperated with people accusing programmers of "gatekeeping" programming. We were practically dragging people through the gate. Do you know why a mindless LLM can tell you so much great programming information? It's because we've been sharing that information for free online for decades.

How many years of our lives have been wasted away because someone had a KPI to increase usage of some dumb feature, and they chose the most user-hostile way to increase it. (I'm thinking a lot of Copilot right now btw)

As a guy with half a trillion dollars, I have lots of options: 1. Enjoy a 100% stress-free life doing whatever I please in unfathomable luxury all over the world with people of my choosing 2. Have 87 meltdowns a day on a website
