Did you know that I'm the lead writer on the new ALIEN RPG cinematic adventure 'Operation Leading Edge'? Free League are taking preorders now and it's due for release in Q4 of this year. This is the second adventure I've co-written, the first being 'Rapture Protocol' 2 years ago. It's in the pipe.
just heard a story about google inserting a discord link from one creator into the bluesky profile preview of another unrelated creator*, presumably through AI. just in case you thought if you skipped the AI preview you're safe related: duckduckgo has a NoAI version *checked myself and it is true
Eniko Fox@enikofox.com · 3mo agoyou don't have to use an extension to do this on Firefox • open settings > search • scroll down to search shortcuts and click add • fill out according to the image below (text in alt text) • click add engine • scroll back up and select "DuckDuckGo No Ai" under "default search engine"
A few years ago, I was working on making a dungeon crawler for the Sharp MZ-80A. It used a mix of traditional character graphics and pseudographics. Development eventually stopped, and it's been sitting around collecting dust since then.

Today's #retrogaming on the #ZXSpectrum #MoonStrike, I really like this game. Lovely interesting graphics to fly over (until the game crashes ). Love the smiley faces and the coin slot graphics to fly over. Controls well and will keep you amused for a while.
Why make something for DOS? Why make something using QBasic? Why not? Why make something with Lua, or C#, or JavaScript, or Python? Why make something with Godot or Love2D or Raylib? Creation is its own reward
The fun part about old computers/consoles is that they're still there, physically or via emulator, and you can just decide to program for them instead of something modern for no reason other than that it'd be a neat experience and you want to And you can still make stuff people would want today
This would be sheer idiocy. I remember when a day in London would mean “black bogies” (I know, tmi)- now NOPE, and there are lovely leafy lichens everywhere. Positive signs of clean air… keep the current protocol!
