I meet with MAHA activists because a lot of their concerns are bipartisan issues that major corporations paint as partisan. The fight isn't left and right, it's top and bottom.

This is what is obscured by a relentless lab leak obsession in the media. When it crosses from lab leak curiosity to denial of science and conspiracy theory, it renders the pandemic a lesson unlearned.
The former NIH director never said someone should take Jay down. He thought there should be a take down of the premises of the GBD. And the response to that email was: oh looks it’s been debunked already. It’s so pathetic that this is the sole basis of his persecution complex.

Millions of people have an absolutely insane concept of “critical thinking” that means “making a fully independent judgment on complex questions you are, if you’re at all honest with yourself, comically incompetent to evaluate & demand years of specialized training.”

I didn't get vaccinated out of obedience, but after decades of studying the immune system and evaluating all evidence. Calling that "lack of critical thinking" is not an argument. It's ideology masked as pretend intellect.
The cycle plays out. Just as it has so many times before. Trump needs so badly for us to believe that big strong Iranians came up to him with tears in their eyes... Which is no part of negotiations.
