Another very successful day of prototype testing today. We completed testing the docking station and everything works perfectly. We now have a charge and I/O dock for the Pocket MiSTer that also has lots of cool features too. More details soon, you are going to love it.

If I was gonna hazard a guess, it's a reskinned Easyphone t300. No stub antenna. But button layout is good, hinge looks about right. Battery specs the same. Stock image orientation suspiciously similar. And it's got an sos button.🧓

Picked this up a few weeks back. Tianli Game VCD Player. Plays VCD’s, but also has an official License from Sega to play Megadrive games from a VCD Disc. Which has the game roms on it and were sold. Can load them straight into an emulator 😂 Anyway these are then loaded into ram and booted. 1/3
Decided to finally release this github.com/Board-Folk/f... Multiple hardware pcb some designed for specific machines for flash floppy. Example a CFD version for the CPC6128 / Spectrum +3 or a Apple II version (waiting to test that one) Most are SD Card and Side Scroll Wheel as i prefer that 😂

After recapping all the boards, this dead laseractive is now working. Had some other faults along the way, mainly me, i didnt push the CONT connectors all the way in as was afraid to break them 😂. This caused video problems with the PACS and CD’s did not spin. @zaxour.bsky.social said to reflow …
I finally finished up a circuit to better approximate the composite palette! Output from the bonanza goes in, then modified RGB goes out. Not necessary if you have an RT5X/4K, but would be useful for CRT's/other scalers.
Laser Active Update FSTB and CONT done. FSTB recapped no problems and no fishy smells surprisingly CONT lost 2 pads and some fishy smells from a few caps Might do the RGB later that will leave me with the VIDEO board over easter and cleanup and reassemble, if i remember where the cables went 😂
Accompanying yesterday's Genesis is this 32X - recapped and outfitted with a Buzzkill to ensure no inductor noise!
Ugly duckling Model 1 VA7 Genesis glow up with a 4BP and TS924 headphone amp! No more horribly balanced audio, with cleaned-up RGB and S-Video capability to boot! I opted for a bottom side install this time...wish I had a flex for everything 🫠
Started on my Laser Active Recapping Journey with the INFT consolemods.org is an excellent resource. Made Cap Box to help sort the caps i need. C418 was the leaky boy that was stopping this board from working
