In Atlanta during the FIFA World Cup match between Spain and Cape Verde, a heartwarming moment unfolded when a Spain fan noticed a Cape Verde supporter and gestured asking if he wanted to swap jerseys. The Cape Verde fan enthusiastically agreed, and the two exchanged shirts before sharing a long hug

My grandfather was a published poet (The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Kenyon Review, etc.) He died in a car crash before I was 3, on the way to visit us for Christmas, and everyone says he and I would have been best friends This is one of my favorites of his On The Lean Divider, John Alexander Allen
