24 HOURS LEFT TO BACK US!! 🗣️✨ Being a part of Anathema’s relaunch has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done—and we’ve still got such a long future ahead of us!! 🥹💜
24 hours left! 🥹 THANK YOU to everyone who helped us reach our goal! ✨ With the finish line behind us, we still have time to reach our stretch goals—and you can get some merch while you’re at it! Again, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! 💜
I’M OVER THE MOON 🥹 Thanks to everyone who’s donated & shared!! I can’t wait to see what we do in the future 🎉💜
WE ARE OFFICIALLY FUNDED 🥹💜 Thank you to everyone who has shared, donated, and supported us! Thanks to you, we’ll create 2 issues of spec lit by queer writers of color ✨In our last 9 days, we’d love to reach stretch goals and send out merch! Either way, we can’t wait for what’s to come 💜
I met DaVaun for the first time last year, & though it was brief, he impressed upon me the urgency of supporting our fellow marginalized writers. This is so hard to hear 😞 FIYAH has been inspirational to me & has done so much for Black SFF writers. Whatever comes next, I will support loud & proud 💜
Difficult post, but past time to rip the band aid off. FIYAH is going on hiatus indefinitely, with issue #40 currently set to be our last for the time being. The mag cannot continue running at a loss, and needs time to reassess operations from top to bottom if a viable path forward is to be created.
Part Two of our Author Bracket! ✨ In the spirit of celebrating queer/BIPOC authors, we’ve created a bracket of vanguard & contemporary writers! This round, you can vote on which of these contemporary authors you’d pick as your next read. Go to our Instagram to vote or comment your choices below! 💜
We’re officially in the final stretch! 🤩
We're officially at the 30-day mark of our Kickstarter campaign! Thanks to everyone who has supported us so far ✨ We must reach our goal of $5,000 or Kickstarter returns every dollar. Let's give queer writers of color the home they deserve. Back us today 💜 #SFF #Queer #bipoc #qtpoc #anathema

My drive home from Charm City Spec was so treacherous and time-consuming due to Baltimore baseball traffic I was too exhausted then to share this pic from Charm City Spec, but here I am with the four other readers — @traewrites.bsky.social, TT Madden, @mahailasmith.ca, and Aina Hunter. A fun night!
Come see me if you’re nearby!! ✨💜 So excited to be there!

There's has been a lot of discourse lately about reviews, especially for older and indie titles. NEW YEAR, NEW YOU, released in 2024, got lovely coverage from indie & mainstream reviewers alike. I wanted to highlight them again w/ a big THANK YOU 🧵 (and we're still happy to give out review copies!)
