I have overextended myself and am currently 40-60 hours into all three released Owlcat games.

This week's Disk Cleanup is with Felipe Falanghe, creator of Kerbal Space Program. We talked about Full Throttle, his lifelong love of Flight Simulator, and how KSP was partly inspired by a Top Gear Flash game. www.pcgamer.com/gaming-indus...
One of Kerbal Space Program's biggest inspirations was a promotional Flash game for Top Gear: 'That was the most similar game to KSP that I could find back then'
The creator of KSP talks us through what's on his PC, from Full Throttle to Old School Runescape.

We're afraid there may be retribution on Bradon's wife even though she had nothing to do with it. Vampires are a hated lot.
Only @joshuawolens.bsky.social could have written this, and I'm pretty sure @pcgamer.com is the biggest site on the web that would publish it. www.pcgamer.com/games/roguel...
My new favourite Tolkien game is free, has over 40 years of history, and would run on a toaster

I love that FromSoftware fantasy games can literally have the gender change coffin or the queen of the realm be a gender fluid lesbian and tell these things directly to people, and no one talks about it because Game Hard
He's right. But even if Feige made Blade, it would've been rubbish. It would've released in 2023 and got 68% on Rotten Tomatoes (following rave tweets from some influencers you've never heard of at the premiere). It would've had Kang in the post-credits and made $352 million on a $250 million budget
Mahershala Ali says he’s moved on from ‘Blade’ “I have moved on … I'm good … you had me under contract … if they wanted to do the movie, we would've done the movie. So we're not doing the movie … They didn't want to do it, so they should answer that question” (via GQ Magazine)
My fiancee came over while I was playing Rogue Trader and said "what's your guy's name again, Falancius von Jackoff?"
if you liked Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey it's because you're an unsophisticated rube with no appreciation for the classics. if you disliked Chris Nolan's The Odyssey it's because you are a snobbish bore who thinks they're too cool to enjoy a thrilling evening at The Movies
Would you like to join us? Maybe we'll have some of that celery and herb cheese and a cheese 'n' celery pasty or two, with lots of spring onion gravy, of course.
SHIVERS - GO TO THE CHILDREN OF THE BIG SEA. RHETORIC - The big sea…The Big C? That can only mean one thing - Communism. YOU - Yes, Comrade Zephyr. I shall find them. Girl Child Revolution and Girl Child Communism! SHIVERS - BOY CHILD FREEDOM. BOY CHILD JUSTICE.
Pictured: One of Ysgramor's wine skins. Notably, it is made out of skin from a sload, which provides it its slick texture and elasticity. Ysgramor's ability to stomach wine from it is a testament to his endurance and willpower.
Dark Souls 2: Armor? Fake. Elemental defense? Real but also conditionally useful so fake. Weapon scaling? Also kinda fake. Poise? Oh you bet that shit is fake. Weapon infusions? Real. Base AR? Real. Rings? Somehow the most powerful equipment in the game.
Dark Souls 2 is so mechanically obtuse that it makes me love it more. Armor is basically meaningless and a full Havel’s set has the same damage reduction as a single specific ring. Poise is fake. Your I-frames are dictated by two arbitrary stats that both contribute to a third arbitrary stat. ❤️
Need a bite to eat? Maybe something to wash it down with?
woo hoo, wife's outta town. Ball n chain's gone. The cat's away, the mice will play. Time for all the takeout she doesn't like followed by a sense of desolate loneliness.
So here's a piece about a long-running Jedi Knight fansite that's also kinda about the Internet as a whole, charting the boom and bust of the dotcom era, and mourning a web that doesn't really exist any more. www.pcgamer.com/games/action...
Conceived in a secure military facility, this Jedi Knight fansite has been running consistently for almost 30 years: 'It looks really close to what it did back in 1998'

The Halo remake is decent. But playing Campaign Evolved and the original back-to-back reveals how right Bungie got it back in 2001. Review: www.pcgamer.com/games/halo/h...
I played the Halo: Campaign Evolved remake and original Halo back-to-back, here's my review
A neat, but fundamentally flawed remake that doesn't always understand the appeal of Halo.

Intrusive thought: The now Tony award-winning Broadway producer Cliff "CliffyB" Bleszinski as a one episode guest star foil to Mr. Sheffield in a modern reboot of The Nanny.
I've made an album of moody, atmospheric music inspired by cult synth movie soundtracks, presented as the lost score to a doomed sci-fi film. Listen to it, read the track titles, and imagine the movie in your head. Available digitally or physically on cassette tape! 🔗 numinalvoid.bandcamp.com
Democrats to me, a 40 year old to their left: whoa there junior, the adults in the room are talking. Why don’t you cool your jets and let common sense win? Republicans to a 17 year old in a bad suit saying slurs: perfect. Here’s a Ford F350. We will pay you 150k to record TikToks inside it.
