Exacerbated environmental racism is one of the major very real harms of data centers, and something that people who've been studying & discussing this for over a decade have long pointed out. It gets put in communities already most disproportionately harmed by pollution like emissions & waste heat.

a huge part of why we are here is because people in positions of power, including at ostensibly liberal institutions, wanted either themselves or their friends to be able to grope women again.

A couple of people being made accountable for a couple of crimes really did a number on America's "public intellectuals". Clearly #MeToo and BLM went too far in that one or two guys were mildly inconvenienced.

There is a really sad pattern I need to address in the trans community: Do not CHOOSE sacrificing yourself. I am not talking about those we lose to ideation. Don't buy a gun if you can't guarantee it won't become a threat on your life. There are other roles to play. But there's another concern.

The community around you will feel your loss. You will be missed and your absence will be an ache on people whom you will never meet. Survive. Community Defense means we build something better together. With you in it. Surviving is an important part of winning. You have to be here at the end.
