Hey everybody. Iβve seen the statement by Matt Karch, the CEO of Saber Entertainment, and all of the truly horrendous things he said about me. I think it should be obvious to anyone who reads that statement that heβs lashing out because he did not want people to know there was AI use in the game.
I wonder how translucent poisoned overlays and borders⦠or maybe just any bumpers or BRB screens that had highly pronounced poisoned imagery (that would survive bitrate crush) and maybe even music could have any useful effect. Or even more fun, if twitch would punish a streamer for using it.

Twitch now uses your channel to train generative AI by default. You can opt out of some training here: www.twitch.tv/settings/sec...
Your content as a STREAMER and your COMMUNITY can be used to train GenAI. This includes All VODs, Chat, Etc. Currently, viewers are NOT ABLE to confirm WHICH STREAMERS have GenAI training active. I don't care what the philosphy is behind this. This isn't okay, for any reason.

The settings don't appear by default in twitch's interface, it seems they have their settings page cached if you click into it. The setting does appear if you navigate directly to the URL: www.twitch.tv/settings/sec...

Unsurprisingly everyone hates this announcement, but I wouldn't be surprised if you start seeing efforts by popular streamers to sabotage this in the near future. After all Twitch is just the platform, the creators are the content.
