Gendah floooid

The new Oney shit is fucking disgusting but it's doubly angering that so many people around me are only NOW condemning this dude. Like you were cool with the guy that made an entire career out of being racist and bullying autistic people until only now? Really?

I do think “every rich person went insane during covid because it was the first time they’ve been inconvenienced in decades” felt a little reductive at first but damn if isn’t more and more compelling as the years drag on

Trans woman: Um hi google id like to purchase a tucking gaff please um- Google: oh I’m sorry did you mean men’s cross dressing sissy tranny trap femboy tucking tranny goonwear gaff for men who are crossdressers

Sonic game discourse has done irrepairable damage to the reputation of linear games in the eyes of Sonic fans, and now too many people of that ilk think that focused, corridor platformers are bad

I still think it would've done ok if the release date hadn't been right between Toy Story and Minions. The worst part is (knowing Hollywood) they'll use this as an excuse to not do more female superhero films. And of course, chuds are taking it as a win.

‘Supergirl’ ends its theatrical run with $126M at the global box office • Production budget was ~$170M • Projected to lose the studio nearly $200M

I don't like that larper has become a new insult, considering larping is an actual cool and niche hobby, and we already had words like poser or performative loser.

This more than anything is what I praise Sonic 3 for doing and what I will forever rag on the The Super Mario Galaxy Movie for not even attempting. Both films feature characters who experience grief through loss in their source material, but only the former attempts to bring that story to film.

Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.
