Telling the story clearly* is more important than anything else in drawing comics. *Unless the story calls for confusion on the part of the reader, of course.

This needs to happen. I've said this before: Sonny Rollins practicing on the Williamsburg Bridge is one of the most mythological moments to happen in New York City. It's the kind of thing that refills the reservoirs of meaning and expanded the horizons of possibility.
