My cinema trips include three movies about people trying to get laid, and one about a guy who has been lonely for a while and white goo starts leaking from him.

I like movies, Nicolas Cage, DVDs, Scooby-Doo, and films. He/him
Why is The Mystery Machine driving around Charlottetown, and why did I see it while driving and unable to snap a pic?
I’ve had a tune stuck in my head for days. I just loaded up a Japanese street camera and the song was playing on a radio nearby or something, but it was in Japanese so I couldn’t get the words.
I was struggling to pick something for Revenge week of #ZombieSteve52, so I decided to just do double duty and cross something off my 2026 watchlist as well.
I am having a heck of a time finding a revenge movie i haven’t seen that actually seems worth watching. The subgenre can’t be that small. Come on, brain, you’ve got one hour.
I’m already tired of seeing “From the Producer of Obsession” in movie trailers.
I once again bought a pile of movie tickets all at once and now I’m seated at the cinema with no idea what I’m here to see.

Holy shit, there’s a solid chance Mortuary Assistant will be dethroned as my least favourite movie of 2026.

RIP to director Chuck Russell, who you probably know most as the director of the Mask, but whose masterpiece film that you should absolutely go back and watch is his 1988 remake of The Blob. Seriously, it's a near perfect movie.
It's Kung Fu week for #ZombieSteve52, and somehow I'm watching a movie I learned about on the Screen Drafts episode about the best chess movies. Apparently it's also where rapper Ghostface Killah took his name from.
Guys! GUYS! Jimothy has stats. (Pay careful attention to how much XP he gives you.)

Before today is over, doctors will discover a condition called Adam's Ass which will be caused by seeing too many consecutive movies without much time to stand up and walk around.
It's Gangster/Mobster week for #ZombieSteve52, and I was almost done of City On Fire last night when I realized I meant to watch Better Tomorrow. As such, I'm switching from Triad to Yakuza. That said, Reservoir Dogs was in the examples, so I guess City On Fire counts through transitive property.
Somehow Count The Rice popped up in my Continue Watching feed for @gamechanger.dropout.tv even though I've already seen it. I can think of no solution other than to watch it again immediately.
Imagine if 15 years ago someone walked up to you and said "the people on the right side of history are the ones saying Taco Bell WASN'T responsible for the diarrhea epidemic".

The Taco Bell finger pointing is a psyop to redirect attention from the real culprit, the deregulation and lack of oversight in our food supply

The movie holds up. As does this great anecdote courtesy of Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum.
While I had some issues with it, this was still intensely uncomfortable. I need a hug.
Apparently the Russell Crowe Robin Hood was 2010 and the Taron Egerton was 2018 so it's not as "every five minutes" as I thought, but I still think the character needs some time off. Also, time is broken and I'm old.

Spent a lot of time at the cinema today. (Eleanor Shellstrop quote that I feel sums up Leviticus because there was no poster. Good movie though)
#ZombieSteve52 is celebrating the 90s Indie Boom this week, and it's time to finally cross this off my list. I've missed it on Criterion Channel a couple of time, but now I'm finally making use of my Mubi subscription.
Fiancée? Why won’t the French let her get married? Bastards.
It's So Bad It's Good week for #ZombieSteve52 and this is generally not a concept I agree with since I believe if I like it, it's good. That said, this is playing at my local cinema, isn't on RT, looks kinda like a Power Rangers fan film, and has solid reviews from people I trust. Counting it.
