I talk about Video Games & Tabletop Games🎮 🎲 Author 📖 Video Editor 🎥
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is out and it's my most anticipated game of the year. Was hoping for a key to review the game. I loved 1 & 2 and even got to review the first when it released. I'd be grateful to have the opportunity to check it out & cover it.
Dungeons & Dragons Long Rest Tavern is a cozy tavern management game about running your own fantasy tavern. From @dotemu.bsky.social It looks incredible and I am so excited to build my own tavern. Is that a duergar I spy in the trailer? Please say yes.

Happy Gamescom Opening Night Live to one and all. What games are you looking forward to? For larger titles it's Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons for me. #gamescom
See you all tomorrow for something exciting! 🐟🏊♀️🐦⬛🐑🌙✝️
Would love a games industry that's stable and doesn't lay people off every week, that'd be so rad
Gen Con 2026 is over and I am bummed. But I had an absolute amazing time at the con and live Dungeon Masters show. Watching Dungeon Masters last night makes me want to go to another live show.
#gencon 2026 & Dungeon Masters live was a blast #ttrpg #dungeonsanddragons #dnd #dungeonmasters

I would really like to be part of a live streamed D&D game. One where we can go to small theaters one day and just have fun telling stories as creators and storytellers. Nothing crazy like Critical Role, just doing it for the love of telling a shared story. I love being creative.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave looks fantastic. I am still playing Fire Emblem Engage. I really enjoyed Fire Emblem: Three Houses. There are so many video games in the world.

Anyone have a recommendation for a laptop? My Nitro 5 is not sounding so great. I fixed the fans once, but I am not sure how much longer it is going to last... I want to game, but I have a Steam Deck so a laptop that can do work is ideal.

Something that often goes unsaid: We're against using genAI in our work, and we've also blocked AI crawlers from finding and stealing our work. Even Google. We're not traffic-driven, but in 2026 this has a big impact on how people find us. So, simply following us and sharing our work means a lot 🙏

This is deeply emotional for us.🥹 Scarlet Deer Inn, our dark medieval folk tale with physical embroidery, is OUT NOW on Steam! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us on this journey. ❤️ Steam: store.steampowered.com/app1553260
I'm curious to know how many people just used it to play multi-player games. I mainly used it to play Elder Scrolls Online. I recently stopped & switched to PC because it is free to play there.
A new report suggests that Xbox studio heads "detest" Xbox Game Pass, but what's the truth? We asked our sources on the topic, too: windowscentral.com/gaming/xbox/... If it's hated and hurts sales, why did Xbox plow ahead with it? Here's what I know about Microsoft's thought processes here.

This is another reason I am passionate about video games. People who create them, make them, and talk about them just really have a fire to do so. Games are great.
This is one of the nicest DMs I’ve ever received 🥹 Great energy to head into the next episode this weekend. You can catch up on the first episode on your preferred platform but I’ll link Apple here: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...
Hot take: what if there were more gaming executives that … liked video games and respected the medium?
When I think of ESO, Gina is synonymous with the game. Devastating to see the Xbox and Elder Scrolls Online. One of my favorite games of all time.
After almost 19 years, I am absolutely heartbroken to say my time at ZOS has come to an end. Supporting this game and community has been a dream come true and one I won’t soon forget.
“Our business today is not healthy,” Chief Executive Officer Asha Sharma wrote in a note...“We must reset Xbox.” Yeah. A reset of the whole industry is more like it. Geezus.
BREAKING: Xbox will cut 3,200 jobs as part of a major reorganization, and divest from five studios: - Compulsion and Double Fine will go indie - Ninja Theory and Undead Labs will be sold - Arkane to enter consultation process Here's the full story: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
In the world of news, this is known as a developing story. Even with reports coming from a credible source (@thegamebusiness.com), it's odd that the word "Obsidian" was used & not the full name of "Obsidian Entertainment." From the video & article itself, it may be a slip of the tongue.
Despite a report this morning, I can confirm that Obsidian is *not* in negotiations to avoid shutting down. Plenty of details are still up in the air surrounding the layoffs (picture will be clear on Monday) but Xbox is keeping Obsidian, according to people familiar with the situation.
(1) We're getting Avowed 2. Steam Machine is expensive. Sony layoffs at Bungie. & Nintendo increased employee salaries. The gaming industry is & has been in a state of flux. Xbox & Sony are damaging the lives of employees by being careless & not putting them first. Profit over people.

Digital storage is more expensive than it has been in a long time, with no signs of slowing down. Markets need to *grow* to keep producing results for these companies — by limiting your audience to only people who can afford $1000+ machines and pay $70 rentals, I truly do not know how this continues
