1/ The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights just released its report on campus antisemitism and Title VI. I testified at the hearing. The report is unanimous, bipartisan, & debunks the main legal theories behind recent attacks on universities for allegedly tolerating antisemitism. 🧵

Nearly half of ADL's 2025 Audit was tied to Israel. A new report from NCAR breaks down what's in that number, from Jews harassed or attacked over Israel's actions to public expressions of hostility toward Israel that ADL considers antisemitic, like 'From the River to the Sea.'

Conflating Jews with Israel Is Dangerous – Whether by Antisemites, U.S. Politicians, or the Israeli State
Amid the outrage over Hasan Piker’s remarks, a Jewish professor of Israel studies at UCLA argues that it’s important to acknowledge how Israel’s actions fuel a lot of the anger directed at Jews.

Another perspective on yesterday's Hasan Piker discourse from Nexus scholar-in-residence Dov Waxman 👇
In response to the outrage expressed over Hasan Piker’s recent comments regarding American Jews and antisemitism, which many have interpreted as blaming Jews themselves for provoking antisemitic violence because of their support for Israel, I feel it's necessary to stress some basic points:

30 years ago today Israel's then prime minister, Yitzhak Rabin, was assassinated by a right-wing Jewish extremist, after a campaign of incitement against Rabin led by Netanyahu. Tragically, Rabin's murder deprived the Oslo peace process of the one Israeli leader who could have enabled it to succeed.
The president who hosted Nick Fuentes for dinner
The president this morning:
You can’t be for Jewish safety and use dog whistles like “globalist.” And you can’t claim you have zero tolerance for antisemitism while winking and waving at it so long as it’s sufficiently subtle.
We do not join Jonathan Greenblatt in thanking the Heritage Foundation's President Kevin Roberts for trying to have it both ways. You can’t condemn antisemitism and not condemn those ushering it into the mainstream.
“Giving Netanyahu and his far-right allies carte blanche to do what they like in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank does not protect Jews, it makes them less safe,” explain @dovwaxman.bsky.social & @jstreetdotorg.bsky.social’s @jeremybenami.bsky.social.
