Also startling that there are about as many trans as gay adults in US.
Has someone come up with the concept of a political event horizon - something so scapegoated that everything can be blamed on it no matter how illogical? (traditionally this is "the jews" but obviously there are modern innovators)

You’d think the more you game, the more locked into your tastes you’d get. But I’ve found the opposite. It seems that the more I play, the more open I am to new experiences, and be able to find new franchises & unique games to love. It’s certainly great to be a gamer 💜🎮

There's a version of this that's true which is that smart people often have interests that are hard to share. I run into this and had partners who feel isolated because of it. I couldn't understand the cutting edge math my partner worked on and she couldn't follow my social science stuff. 1/

It’s mostly confirmation bias and selective reporting based on that public interest. But the spark for that interest has been two anomalous widespread outbreaks and concerning policy changes. Typically mid 300s for food recalls per year and by number it’s about average for the year.

Imo discreet cameras should require licences and misuse should be punishable. Glasses with a display seem neat but we can do it without the surveillance.

The new Toronto Tempo mascot is easily the most “hey mamas” mascot I’ve ever seen. This mascot ghosted me on Her. This mascot didn’t want to be “boxed in by labels” when I wanted to dtr. This mascot looks at their ex’s IG stories every single day
