“The process is important.” That’s the gist of the problem right there for so many current use cases of AI. Skipping steps that are actually important for progress and learning on a personal level because someone doesn’t value anything but an end product.

Question fellow Gooners. I've got an authentic Arsenal 90/92 home shirt which I love dearly, does anyone know if there is a person or a business out there who can do 'authentic' name/number printing on the back using the classic original typeface? RTs and any pointers appreciated
Google search using AI makes it occasionally possible to emulate using boolean search terms like AND and NOT, though not as effectively as old-fashioned search engines like Google used to do by implementing booleans.
Self driving taxis cannot lift people's shopping, wheelchairs, buggies etc into and out of their boots, or assist you to and from your front door. The tech bros should be asked about this and so should the government at every opportunity.

Me: (a smart columnist, looking at claims made by an ex-Tory neo-Nazi booted out of the party for crimes, now standing as a Tory councillor whole doing a rehabilitation tour parroting the agreed media line in his new “anti-extremism” gig) This is extremely convincing stuff, and very worrying.

Leaders of flag-raising group Raise the Colours Oxfordshire placed trackers on highway workers’ cars to find out their home addresses, the High Court has heard. RTC then attempted to intimidate the highway staff into no longer removing flags by repeating their addresses to them.
I really cannot underline enough how absolutely nuts tomorrow's #TDFF2026 stage 5 will be. If you can at all clear your schedule, do it and watch the stage (it's broadcast from the start). You won't regret it.
Bra-padding issue at the Tour de France Femmes: it's clear that putting material in the gap behind arms around the torso is an aero advantage -- witness triathlete bottle placement in there. It could be most of a second-per-km faster.
Bluesky is a "liberal bubble" because fascist chuds can't get traction without algorithmic assistance and because people here trained themselves to block "debate me" trybois the instant they roll up

I think there's maybe a bit of a conversation going on within Danish cycling - Mads P's retirement announcement ('29 Worlds in Copenhagen) and talk about what cycling does to him physically and Magnus Cort's retirement have both focussed on work-life balance as a pro cyclist
