“The process is important.” That’s the gist of the problem right there for so many current use cases of AI. Skipping steps that are actually important for progress and learning on a personal level because someone doesn’t value anything but an end product.

Google search using AI makes it occasionally possible to emulate using boolean search terms like AND and NOT, though not as effectively as old-fashioned search engines like Google used to do by implementing booleans.

Self driving taxis cannot lift people's shopping, wheelchairs, buggies etc into and out of their boots, or assist you to and from your front door. The tech bros should be asked about this and so should the government at every opportunity.

Interesting passage in the mea culpa on antisemitism from Tory council candidate at centre of selection row, supporting the view - fiercely denied by most on left at the time - that Corbyn was a magnet drawing antisemitic cranks into Labour. By 2015, when I was 22 turning 23, this ideology had become my whole exis-tence. I welcomed Jeremy Corbyn's election as Labour leader because I saw him as hostile to Israel and aligned with anti-Zionist politics. In my mind, all of this was part of the same war. Alongside those I associated with, I began targeting Jewish MPs and becoming loudly vocal about what we called "Jew-ish infiltration".
