Just look at this. Was thinking of applying to this govt scheme, helping on rights of way and sense of place. It's waay too long, full of padding, needs cutting down by half. No sense of planning or priorities: 3 'outcomes', 6 'portfolios', 8 'areas of interest', 10 'cross-cutting themes'. 🙄🤷‍♂️ (1/2)

Remember my head teacher crying in assembly when she told us about the Dunblane massacre. Was proud that there was immediate mobilisation to ensure it couldn’t happen again, and in the years since we have mostly avoided mass violence with guns. The UK must not retreat on gun legislation!

Just spent some time in the Roman Mediterranean and this aspect of material culture is rarely discussed, if at all. Looking forward to reading Jen!

Every polling day I remember the best letter I ever received from our legendary primary school head Mr Baffoe (and there are many I have saved, he was/is wonderful).

I used to work somewhere where the contract allowed for random drug tests and breathalysers whilst on shift, and if you failed, you’d be sent home and face disciplinary measures. It’s wild the media think politicians should be held to a lower standard than employees at a fucking waxwork museum.
