Finally finished Pillars of Eternity. Didn't like it, but I think it's worth the thought. This is my 4th try, I just kept bouncing off. I always liked the mechanics, but never stuck to the story. My logic was that with the new turn-based mode, I would extend the part I actually enjoyed: the combat.

#iHunt got the finger on the pulse on adventuring as gig-economy & the economical horrors that result from it before everyone else. It was also eye opening & revolutionary in its treatment of layout at the time, & how it wore its politics on its sleeve. Also: the only FATE game I actually like.
