I'm really torn between taking an approach of "if they don't want to learn, that's on them" approach to student use of A.I., but then I think about how it's my role to ensure that they are learning, and to act as a gatekeeper for the social work profession, which is protective of clients

Since I coordinate a program and see some stuff from "on high": * 0% of the students leave or complain about a course because it is "too ideological." * Most leave courses because (a) instructors demand too much writing/reading, (b) the instructor uses AI somehow, or (c) scheduling.
