i pointed out to someone trying to "dunk" on EU rpers (an eu rper himself) that a lot of the toy spamming and memeing going on in the ToA on NA is somehow better than our RP and I got mass reported for saying thats just not how its done on EU, never has. NA has always had a different standard for RP

Vex made an objectively correct take that we shouldn't be confusing OOC Lolling/Toyspam and modernisms as Azeroth-Accurate Roleplay and the Blizz Devs decided to remove the post because people were upset over being told that RP doesn't equal spamming Mr Smite toys in the Argent Tourney.
It's starting to get dangerous when your seeing opinions like "disruption to rp is bad actually" getting mod banned over an NA event. It always sucks to have an opinion that goes against the popular but heavens forfend you want to see some quality still in your hobby.
"Should have chosen correctly" is the most prepotent shit you can tell your players. It is beyond insulting, and then going on to write absolute SLOP to justify this stance is unfathomable.
And the faction choice, no matter how grumbly people get about it and no matter how much the writers might dislike it, is the biggest choice a player will *ever* make in the game. And not respecting that choice is quite honestly insulting to your own players.
