My #NIH review panel meeting got cancelled less than 24 hours before its meeting start. So crazy! I spent days to review my batch of 8 full proposals (R01)! Poor investigators whose grant proposals were being reviewed in the panel and many other panels cancelled in the past month!

LOVE a #CVPR2025 paper but facing pushback from the other reviewers? CHAMPION IT! Make a strong case in your discussions and your “justification of rating”—fight for the papers that deserve it! Don’t be swayed by being in the minority in the face of weak arguments.

We've got notification that study sections in early February are very likely to resume. So this shitdown (yes that was a deliberate typo) is temporary but clearly designed to disrupt to shock academics. Fk Trump. Fk MAGA.
