I had a choice between a really sweet, tender moment of Alyx carrying an injured Callon to a bathtub to tend to his wounds, or Callon being forced to stay at work late because his co-workers are idiots. I chose the latter. #WIPSnips

Callon held his head in his hands. "How the fuck do you accidentally beat a man to death? The fuck is wrong with you?!" "..." one of the men trailed off, bashfully looking away. "I don't know, I just got carried away. Sorry." "Sorry? Sorry?! Do you know how long it's gonna take to clean this mess up?! The commander spoke up, "that's what I told him, boss, but by the time I-" "Shut up. Both of you, just. Just shut up," Callon sighed, clasping his hands together as he worked through the steps in his head. This wasn't the first time someone would be beaten to death in an office, and it likely wouldn't be the last.

I mean, I wouldn’t call it ‘love at first sight’ but more so ‘I need to fuck him or I’m gonna die’ at first sight. Yay for FWB to lovers! To be honest, I think Alyx finds Callon just a little annoying at first; but in an endearing way. #SumLuv

Alyx looked the ladder up and down, unsure of how high it went. By the time he looked back up, Callon had already made it a quarter up the ladder. "By the Gods, slow down!" Alyx yelled back, quickly beginning his climb as the ground grew further and further away. "Would you catch me if I fell?" Callon sang, pausing to look back at Alyx. "Fuck no!"

Callon took a long drag, blowing the smoke out into the air. "Thanks." He held the box towards Alyx, offering him one. Last time didn't count. This one will be it. Alyx took a cigarette, lighting it with the tip of his finger. "Aren't you like, not supposed to drink or smoke if you do blood magic shit?" Asked Callon. "Like, it'll fuck with people's blood? "You can, it's not like it stays in your blood stream forever. But it's better you just…don't,” Alyx shrugged. “I'm not in a hospital or anything right now, so... Snippet from my draft, reading: Alyx grabbed it, Callon's name lighting up the screen. He continued to write once he answered, holding the phone on his shoulder. "Kinda in the middle of something, what's up?" "I think you have my wallet," said Callon. His voice was muffled, as if something was in his mouth. "...Are you biting your nails?" "..Yeah. Why?" "Stop that," Alyx snapped. "It took me like an hour to paint them for you." "Sorry." Callon's voice became just a little clearer. "But uh...! have your wallet." He paused, setting the clipboard down. "What?" "Dude, I'm looking at your ID right now. You look really weird without the beard, by the way. No offense," he laughed. "You're like a big, angry baby." He let out a sigh, "shut up, I'll check." He grabbed the wallet he assumed was his from his pocket. Upon opening it up, he saw an ID that most definitely was not his. ". '..Well, shit."

so fun fact, my whole motivation for writing came from me infodumping on twitch while playing Skyrim. I had to take a break cause of vocal damage, but! I wanted to start streaming again as a sort of digital newsletter! I'll be streaming this Sunday; yapping abt my ocs and playing skyrim. Yay!
