My GP mentioned to me a while back that he believes homeopathy works. I happen to know that he also believes in god, so I’ve just kind of slotted both under the “believe what you want as long as you don’t base your medical advice to me on it” heading, but it’s unsettling.

the whole 'nothing has gotten better' discourse is of course fucking stupid in a million ways, but I just wanted to note that average dog lifespan in the United States has increased by two years since 2000.

I really wish people would stop pretending the path to victory is their own politics for one fucking second. You can completely ignore anyone who does this.
