Maryland’s 6th congressional district is beautiful, and I’m honored to call it my home. It’s also full of treasures: libraries that create much-needed public spaces, a discoball stairwell in a Frederick parking garage, and the community skate park in Cumberland.

Two years after Darializa Avila Chevalier took part in the Gaza solidarity encampment at Columbia University, she is now set to represent the district in which the university is located in Congress.

“She’s holding her 5-month-old and wearing a T-shirt featuring a skull emblazoned with the number 335—the local of her former union, @nteu335.bsky.social. ‘The public is so far ahead. On issues like data centers or abolishing ICE, Congress has yet to catch up.’” www.thenation.com/article/poli...

Proud to be endorsed by NTEU Chapter 282 — the FDA Union. In Congress, I’ll fight to protect federal workers, strengthen collective bargaining rights, defend whistleblowers, and take on corporate interests. Thank you, FDA Union. Let’s win this together. ✊ #md06

CHAPTER 282
Alexis Goldstein is a fierce fighter not only for federal workers, but for all working families. She has her finger on the pulse of the critical issues impacting our communities.
From demanding regulatory accountability for Big Tech to addressing the aggressive expansion of data centers in our neighborhoods, Alexis will ensure the people's voices are heard in Washington.
As a former federal employee and union leader, Alexis brings a crucial perspective that is too often missing when legislation impacting our civil service is drafted and debated. She is the leader we need to organize our communities and stop billionaire interests from steamrolling struggling families.
