Reminder to everyone living with smoky air right now: DRINK MORE WATER. You're inhaling particulate even if you can't see it, your body needs to flush that crud out, and it needs water to do so. You're probably gonna produce more mucus and that's annoying, but it's helping clean out the crud.

Working on yet another personal project (based on wacky dreams) which may never see the light of day, but thought doing faux woodcuts for the illustrations would subvert the usual expectations for the stories. This one is for a microfiction entry in the batch I'm working up.

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

Oh that's a GIVEN. Also I just got artwork of a beautiful Tendi moment in issue two. (I take no credit for it, the artist came up with the images on his own.) I just love Tendi and Raffi butting heads but slowly becoming besties.
