The daft wee, micro-budget film in which I appear (briefly) 'Welcome to G-Town' is currently showing in LA at #BeyondFest It's one of those weird things that makes me pinch myself a lot. So happy for the folks behind it. youtu.be/78j1zDPaeIY?...

Happy birthday, @scimon.bsky.social Lovely to run into you the other day, if only to see that brief moment of utter confusion flick across your face. 😂 Have a fab day, birthday brother.
Encounter board all modge podged and lightly sand scattered for a basic texture. Once that's fully dried, spray undercoat will happen. Then basic colours ahead of rocks and things, flock, bushes, mud, and all that good stuff. #miniterrain
This Film often has the piss taken out of it for being a rather sedentary piece about 2 people just talking a lot — BUT — it has one of the most brilliantly prescient monologues imho. MY DINNER WITH ANDRE (1981) Have a listen.
All set up to paint at my local, every other Tuesday, games club at the Granary in #BerwickUponTweed If you’re local to Berwick, and you’re a card, board, or other tabletop gamer, do come along between 6pm and 9pm.
FuckfuckfuckfuckfuuuuuuuuckfuckfuckFUCKfuckfuckfuckityfuckF.U.C.K. But, otherwise, it's all fine.
The great annoyance that came out of my recent trip was dealing with #Lufthansa customer 'service', and the huge effort they will go to to avoid paying out on a promise made by one of their own customer service people. Their final, smug defence was, "Well, you can't prove what was said, can you?"
Three suitcases go into Austrian Airlines care at the same time - Sarajevo to Glasgow, via Vienna. The London to Glasgow leg is British Airways. One case gets stuck in Vienna, one in London, and one somehow between London and Glasgow. Yay... #travel #lostluggage
A 70yr old FRED ASTAIRE — that's SEVENTY — gets his stylish groove on at the 1970 Academy Awards.
Last morning walk in #Sarajevo for a while. Encountered this chaos goblin in the grounds of the main mosque, charging around, stalking leaves, living his best life. #catsofbluesky

At night, when the grounds are closed for the day, the keepers of the main mosque in #Sarajevo put out food, and the occasional box lid, for the stray cats of the city. They have a safe place at night. Gorgeous.
In 1994 when they were taking off but by no means massive or wielding any influence within the music industry, Green Day took gay punk band Pansy Division on tour with them. People were very vocally homophobic back then (in England, section 28 was still very much in force - not repealed until 2003!)
I love just how clear and succinct this response is. Just utterly shutting down the bullshit.

Travelled to #Visegrad for thr bridge there. If you've ever read 'The Bridge on the Drina' you'll know why this is a special place. It's well worth a read if you've not. Sadly, there's not a lot in Visegrad apart from the bridge and related museums. Worth two half days and one night.
#Sarajevo is a beautiful place, but a hard one too. Before I post lots of tourist pics, I want to acknowledge what the criminal Serb forces did here, that they still refuse to accept they did. They committed a genocide here. Recently, they buried one of the architects of that crime as a hero.
#InTheGrey, on Prime. A review. Impossibly rich people have a problem with a fabulously rich person. They employ a very rich person to solve the problem. She has two wealthy people who help her. They employ well paid people to help kill wage slaves. A couple of the well paid people die too. Meh.
I think this is where my mild fez obsession began. My absolute favourite story of #DoctorWho, the Pyramids of Mars.
60yrs ago (8th Sep) the first episode of Star Trek played on NBC and so it is a very Happy Birthday to a series and franchise that means a lot to so many people. Here is some of my fan art of the original crew. Live long and prosper.
