Was privileged to read an advance copy. Does for anthrozoology what Dara O'Briain did for physics. It reads like Prof. Alice Roberts doing stand-up, with beautiful illustrations. Informative, witty, and explains why we love these daft buggers, and why insurance is so important. Buy it.

One of the things I hate the most about tariffs is that we knew they were illegal, and when the court finally decided they were illegal, they forced Trump to refund the tariffs. But the refunds went to the corporations, and not the people the corporations raised prices on. What a scam.
This is remarkable. Marco Rubio stated, "Iranians are thieves. They cannot impose tolls on the Strait of Hormuz." In response, Abbas Araghchi remarked, "Consider the speaker. Approximately half of Venezuela's oil production is now directed to the United States. Who is truly the thief?"

Tonight BBC radio 4 ran an hour-long advert for “suicidal empathy” (the idea and book) on the Moral Maze, describing its author simply as a Canadian professor, without mentioning his enthusiasm for Great Replacement ideology nor calls for civil war in the UK. That does not seem ok.
