Drilling for oil and gas will absolutely not lower bills. It's sold on the international market. And the idea of this being for jobs is utter nonsense. Jackdaw would create about 27 jobs. So when is the moment Andy Burnham will take the heatwaves & the climate crisis seriously?

I am increasingly wondering what the final straw will be. Where is the line? What will be the event that forces our political class to acknowledge reality. Or are they so completely corrupt they will go up in flames while denying it's even warm out.

The best way to understand Andy Burnham is that as PM he is still acting exactly like a Mayor. He's not even pretending to use all the powers he has, just letting the billionaire donors continue on however they like.

Reminder the Water Companies haven't been building Water Treatment Plants, just like they don't build Reservoirs. Now they simply dump your sewage straight into the water, but they still charge you treating it. Even though they don't.
