Chicago teen shares his experience in ICE detention centers: I am 18 years old and I just graduated from high school in Chicago. I was in ICE detention for 2 months and 10 days. They kept me in solitary for 2 days for no reason, alone in a room with just a toilet. They never let us go outside.

This is Ulyana, she was only 13. Russia killed her On July 11, during aerial bombs attack on Sumy. 💔🕯 ​Ulyana practiced track and field at the Volodymyr Golubnychy Specialized Children and Youth Sports School. She was at a bus stop when her city was hit.

The sheer injustice in Houston is sickening. Lorenzo was just going to work to support his family when his life was stolen by ICE. Seeing his father on his knees, consumed by raw, agonizing grief, is a heartbreaking reminder of the human cost of systemic violence. He deserves justice.

So far, the Democratic Socialists of America's success has been confined in large part to deep-blue city districts. Meanwhile, in suburban areas and in statewide contests establishment Democrats generally are winning against progressive challengers. Chicago saw its own version of this dynamic in March in the hotly contested and crowded race to succeed retiring Rep. Jan Schakowsky in the 9th Congressional District. The bomb-throwing influencer Kat Abughazaleh, 27, won the portions of that district in Chicago's North Side lakefront neighborhoods, but suburban votes gave savvy Evanston Mayor Daniel Biss the win.

​Nnani Adaobi Marian, a 23-year-old who was injured during a Russian strike on Kharkiv, has passed away in Germany. ​The graduate of the Kharkiv National Medical University sustained severe injuries on June 29 during a guided aerial bomb attack on Kharkiv.

This is Victoria, she was only 10-year-old. Russian killed her in Lozova, Kharkiv region 💔 ​The attack, which took place the previous day, hit a family with three children. Viktoria suffered severe burns, and despite doctors' desperate efforts to save her, she tragically passed away.
