The stakes are clear in tomorrow's runoff for Fulton County. You can choose Pitts & Morris to protect our tax money from Dickens's TAD developer scheme. Or you can choose their opponents and face a 20% tax increase to cover the Jail redo and S. Fulton hospital.
In plain English, Mo would hand over Fulton TAD taxes to Andre. Creating a budget crisis for the Jail redo and big tax hikes for residents. She’d leave Big Commercial underpaying by hundreds of millions. Pitts would retake the big TAD $$$ and has already hit data centers with proper valuation.

Using AI to do stuff at your business is like hiring someone you would fire in the first week because they screw up all the time. And they’re more expensive and they ruin the environment and sometimes they tell people to kill themselves.
The entire reason AI is being deployed in schools is to funnel money out of schools and into tech companies. Whatever reasons you've convinced yourself that AI edtech is necessary, regardless of how "useful" you think it is, it's sole purpose is to pad the pockets of the wealthy.
Kelsea's thread succinctly diagnoses what's wrong with the Atlanta Way. Most local pols work for the billionaires, not for residents, either affluent or low-income. The Mayor's current TAD extension plan should be viewed in that light, sadly. Council has power to improve it. Will they? #GApol

Steve Silberman is so pissed about this Tylenol bullshit that he's screaming from the afterlife he didn't even believe in. Increased rates of autism are due to testing, a broadened definition, and greater awareness. It's not vaccines. It's not Tylenol. It's like his work never happened.

You can condemn murder and political violence without whitewashing Charlie Kirk's shameful history of hate, racism, white nationalism and promotion of dangerous conspiracies that radicalized Trump supporters to violence. You can do both.
The problem with allowing guns everywhere is that no one is safe anywhere.
