This would throttle DC’s ability to self-govern. The $1b hole in DC‘s budget was caused by Congress, not the District, which has balanced its budget 31 years in a row. We should have the right to implement sound tax policy like any other jurisdiction. #handsoffdc oversight.house.gov/release/chai...

Just saw Boots Riley's latest, "I Love Boosters," last night. Five stars. It appears that it may only be in theaters for another couple days. GO SEE IT. If we want interesting, outsider-y art in the movies (not just ANOTHER totally predictable super hero / action flick), we have to support it!
