I feel the same way about genAI fanfic. If someone thought it was a respectable way to "produce content" (ugh) for fandom, they'd tag it. But no. They want the credit/accolades for WRITING, and they don't want people to filter out their work bc they feel entitled to readers.

not saying anything new, but if these folks actually believed in genAI writing, they'd disclose it, tout it, and build their own audiences elsewhere and leave others be. hiding and sneaking it to markets who want no part of it doesn't prove you're good at writing. just proves you're good at fraud.

I've seen talk before about how Motoko Kusanagi was a lesbian awakening for a lot of people back in the day, and who her modern equivalent would be. Well luckily with the new anime, it's just Motoko Kusanagi again

"you cant buy happiness" is a warning for rich people not for normal people. if youre not the kind of freak who makes or inherits millions you can absolutely buy yourself some happiness

I will use any word OTHER than "content". People post videos, photos, art, paintings, music, video essays, skits, streams, chats, reviews, stories, illustrations, comics, tutorials, editorials, etc. Value your, and other peoples', creativity enough to not just call it "content".

Its not a hot take but man the way the word "content" is used these days. A vile bit of late stage capitalist propaganda, lumping all forms of human creativity and expression into a single wastebin teaching the public to treat all art as disposable.
