My unpopular opinion is that you can't claim self defense when you cross the street to confront someone with your hand on/by your revealed gun. Just the other day we were condemning Chud the Builder for doing something similar (albeit he fired), and while slurs are bad, they don't justify lethality.

“Stand your ground” laws are meant to allow cis white men to murder Others with impunity. Here we see what happens when an out-group member attempts to gain the protection ostensibly afforded them by that law.

also this isnt great if it's an accurate description of events. you're supposed to avoid being confrontational like this while carrying specifically because approaching someone yelling profanity at you makes it look less like you feared for your life and more like you were looking to start something

If you want omega-3 fatty acids, just eat a fish. Hook and line or certified sustainable are best for wild caught. Farm raised fish have their own litany of issues, but they are comparatively less environmentally detrimental than trawled fish, and it varies based on farm.
