On Friday, @progressivereform.bsky.social submitted a public comment for a proposed rule from USDA to amend regulations governing the Forest Service, redefining the USFS Directive System, which traditionally comprised both the FS Manual and FS Handbooks.

This is a rigged process with a predetermined outcome: more O&G exploitation of the Greater Chaco landscape (which extends well beyond the boundaries of the NPS unit) that's already been subject to a century of injustice & exploitation. This outcome was explicitly identified in Project 2025.

SCOOP: The Trump administration is paying millions to quickly cover four enormous bronze horses with extra-thick 23.75 karat gold leaf. The money for the rush job is coming from National Park Service funds. In total, I found ~$100 mil spent on new DC beautification projects.
