Meanwhile, Newcastle with 13km of bored tunnels and 9 underground stations built 13 years after first plans:
A step towards sovereignty! Anyone worried that Ireland is now going to get into all sorts of military adventures hasn't understood how chronically understaffed and underfunded the defence forces are. They can't even control Irish airspace and waters.

Each time I drive home from book club, at about 10.30-11pm - mostly from D6,D8, D14 - I count the number of foxes I see. It’s invariably between 1 and 3. Very rarely that I don’t see any. Even tonight (v rainy & windy) I saw one, running across the road ahead.
This is solely so Micheal Martin can feel like he might get invited to the big kids table
