Annie Andrews has worked hard for months all across SC. Her hard work, a weak opponent, the ham-fisted move to steal Jim Clyburn’s seat, disgruntled Repubs who thought they were next in line, & Trump’s corruption have created a perfect storm for what’s looking like a big win for Annie and SC.
To all the people in SC who raised their hands, who’ve banded together in SC has been enormous. The wave starts at the bottom of the ocean. We’ve been working so hard. Nothing but an uphill battle, something we never saw possible. We did it y’all. The foundation is built, our community is stronger.

In historical terms, seeing the more liberal party win a Senate seat in South Carolina -- the true heart and soul of the Confederacy -- feels like a second Reconstruction, but homegrown this time.

They, and their staffs and volunteers, do critical, critical work.
