It's almost like context matters? I'd say that backing Ukraine is *still* seen as just by the overwhelming majority of Democrats. And you have a significant (though very much minority) Liberal Interventionist strain.

I'm just going to point out that this has already happened to 4500+ trans people in the military, except there's no happy ending for them. No acquittal. Just a rigged separation board and a discharge code that guarantees they will never work in a job requiring a clearance again.

This is also an underappreciated reason we live in a gerontocracy. No company is giving you leave to campaign and with term limits in many states, you best case have a job for around a decade. Meanwhile, old people are bored and have infinite time, plus a lot of money usually!

Have we considered we’re not good a polling? Like the overs are by so far it says the underlying polling models are *fucked*. Like we are just not sampling well enough to calibrate models.

Mu current assumption is that all races, regardless of geography or context, are secretly tied.

I think it's both true that Israel is a colonial project that continues to engage in colonialism and that Israeli identity is in fact a real thing. The notion that without Israel all the Israelis would embrace their true wholesome identity as Europeans or Arabs or whatever is complete lunacy

Probably the opposite. If the Dems institute structural changes on the scale of M4A, they should expect enough backlash to wipe them out in the next election. That shouldn't stop them obviously. Politicians need to have the courage to sacrifice their seats for progress, or it ain't going nowhere.

I live in a city that has multiple hospitals. If you need to donate Bone Marrow, you're probably leaving the state.
