It's hard to tell how real a celebrity is. Unless you're close to them, you *don't* truly know them. You *can't.* But in lieu of that, the energy Dolly Parton radiated, her words of kindness and acceptance, her philanthropy, and her legacy as a whole painted a beautiful picture. Rest in Peace.

Dolly Parton was an icon. She was a brilliant songwriter and performer. She was an incredible activist and advocate, helping to donate over 200 million free books to children. She was one of my personal heroes. This is a terrible loss. She will be greatly missed.
