I'd argue that, for the metrics, it's vastly MORE important that viewers turn this off. There's more viewers than streamers, so even if every streamer turned this off, if viewers don't, the executives can still claim that "most users don't care" and cram it down our throats even harder. Opt out.

Free Speech Coalition@fsc.bsky.social · 4w agoSCREEN Act, which would have required mandatory age-verification for sites (like this) that allow "material harmful to minors" failed to pass out of committee after thousands and thousands of people called their Senators. More work ahead!
While the SCREEN Act failed in the committee, KOSA did move forward. Contact your senators immediately demanding it be opposed, and keep the pressure up until it comes to a vote in the Senate
