I know we're not supposed to buy EA things anymore since Kushner and Bonesaw bought it... but I got a bunch of credit for Steam as thanks for helping out with something so I'm probably using it to help pay for Jedi Survivor. I know it's probably going to suck but it'd be five bucks out of pocket.

So I posted about the Kickstarter that Harvey Pekar's daughter huge is running to fund sorting his huge archive of papers. She put some stuff on ebay to help raise funds, too. I couldn't pass on this. Harvey's copy of Rolling Stone from June 1970, with coverage of the Kent State Massacre!

We can't be seen as "A pitiful helpless giant" was Nixon's response to calls to end the Vietnam War now in face of the massive antiwar protests of 1970. By June 1970 the entire higher education system had been brought to a complete halt, as over 400 universities & colleges saw student walkouts to protest the Kent State and Jackson State murders. The nation was in complete freakout with millions on the march and howls from rightwingers to "kill more of them!"
