Been slowly making progress over the last few weeks but I might be at a wall with the big boss(?) of Chapter 5. Look, I know this is an exceptional game but my timing is just awful here and the game suddenly becomes deeply frustrating. I will try again another day, but not today sadly.

Well, Dave The Diver and its DLC are sadly now in the never touch again pile. I don't care if you still had someone look at the translations after, I won't support using AI tools like that Mint Rocket. Incredibly disappointing (and egg on my face for not learning sooner).

I continue to be in awe of Abiotic Factor's mastery of tone. It's comedic without getting cute and quippy, then becomes pants-shittingly terrifying and grim as hell, lets you feel badass for a little while, then reminds you that the universe is vast and unknowable and you are but an ant in it.

With one of the cruelest antagonists I've encountered in a while, a plot I was always thrilled to see twist in surprising ways, and so much damn heart at its core; this book absolutely sings. Excellent read!
